Under the bed

Hello again. I've had quite few texts in the last hour - lots of people are coming to the party! Now I have to decide what to wear, skinny jeans?!...

I still have a headache from over indulgence last night. For once our whole team went out after work for drinks. Prior to this we drank wine in the office for an hour while we finished up. By the time we'd finished three of us were in the lotus position walking across the office floor on our knees! I love my team but I can't decide if I like working so f***ing hard all the time. Means I'm more likely to end up getting totally wasted at the weekend to let go. That's what's happened to our society now. You can't just tell people to stop binge drinking and taking drugs because its bad for them - we know its bad for us! but so is working a 45 hour week and there are no public health warnings on job adverts.....   

Tonight we are having a party. I guess its going to be one of those typical 'Clapham' parties where all the girls will turn up in skinny jeans and beads, everyone will get very drunk and undoubedtly there will be some random kissing because people are feeling lonely.

Take Whitty, for example, she's not very good at being on her own. When she gets lonely and drunk she will kiss random people. I think we are all a bit guilty of this. She's trying so hard at the moment to be single after over two and a half years and its difficult when she's not feeling good.

So I wonder if I will get relegated to under the bed tonight. I think she's a bit emabrrased about me when boys come over so I have to sleep in the dust.....
