Under the bed

I have more to say on the subject of cheese:

The Ofcom restrictions on advertising of food and drink to children include cheese as a food that should not be advertised to children and as such have been lumped into the ‘junk food’ category.

Thre is a petition on the 10 Downing Street website, which is calling for a revision of the Ofcom restrictions to remove cheese from the ban.

Now, my first instonct was to visit and vote, however, after further consideration I'm not so sure. The reason being that I have never seen an advert for a good type of cheese. I have seen cheese strings, babybel, kraft slices and laughing cow - exactly all the types of cheese that are rubbish AND aimed at children. So now I think that maybe Ofcom has got it right in a roundabout way....

Okay - I have registered! Written some uninteresting blurb about myself, said what the five things are that I couldn't live without (yes - cheese is in there) and uploaded a reasonable picture of me.

I them looked through the list of men aged 25 to 30 who were within a twenty mile radius of my postcode (south west London somewhere). There were a few nice looking guys there - some who turned me off with their description of who they're after. Like saying 'I only like slim brunettes who can speak three foreign languages fluently and play tennis three days a week and look perfect when they wake up first thing in the morning after a large night out'.

I also ruled out those ones with no photo - I work in PR - I know how you can justify spinning the word 'attractive'!

So I have added two nice looking young men to my favorites - but chickened out of sending them a message - I will take direction on what one should say - and endeavor to make contact tomorrow night!
